The Masonic Frag

R. Tristan DeWitt

Prairie whistles stretching long
In all directions that a railroad can go.

Sunny Siam falls to a rain of brass jackets
And the vegetation turns away from god.

While we persist in enumerating
Plausible operations by the ream,

Exotic birds rendered in prefabrications
Of American medical now glut the overture.

And even dull scissors offend
The re-creation of yesterday park.
